One option that's worked well for us was using rubocop's `--auto-gen-config`. This creates a specific ignore/TODO list on a per file basis.

Banning outright vs removing ads is an entirely different ballpark. Adults should have autonomy over their body so long as it does not infringe on others. It's not up to authorities to decide whether individuals trade long term health

I appreciated the README as written. I immediately understood what kind of environment the author intended this to be used in. A more formal explanation would have degraded the message. Vulgarity doesn't have to taken as judgemental
