Yeah no body is arguing against that particular point. I have to say OP was just pointing out that preference on it's own can contribute quite a bit to the "wage gap".

Here's the catch in that, my master's experience convinced me that even academia, isn't as free as it is hyped up to be. There's a strong marketing drive to hype up the freedom in academia, but there's a strong guid

Don't know why you're getting downvote, the first part of your stmt might be debatable, but being harmless is reasonable and in the example of about:config, it's also useful for a smaller set of users.

Ugg... that looks like a ripe market for some Indian company to sell the older versions of insulin. (Of course, there will be legal hurdles and hoops to jump through, but it seems like it'll be bringing competition to the US companies

As long as you don't explain why you think it is not relevant, there'll not be much progress. You could argue for example the default should be to treat the two(representation of women in tech vs psychological gender differences)

Bro, just got aadhaar fingerprint auth rejected two days in a row. Don't think i'll get it to work anytime soon. Local states' aadhaar auth rejection seems to be 30% rejection rate. (For first 3 months of 2017).

I don't think the fact researchers look for future funding from sources doesn't affect this. This statement is the same as funding/donating to politicians' campaigns regularly, and withdrawing if they pass specific legis

Yeah.. Everybody always lies.. The only way to get or transfer the truth is to hook up(or read) brains (ideally neuron by neuron, and change the receiver's brains to reflect the same. :-P
