No, the author didn't win $8000, because the judgement is suspended for 30 days, where Equifax can appeal (which they most certainly will, especially since the judgement was from a Pro Tem). There will likely be a new case in superior

it's definitely not bad. there should be public office hours at startup school that we can all learn from. however, I argue the format can be changed so it's more professional.

I find it hard to believe that data is safer being stored outside the United States - it's probably more susceptible outside the US to be spied on than inside.
