Weighed as in with a scale? Possibly historically this might have been a concern or a mechanism to check for counterfeits, but currently the change and bills are placed in the same, non-measured, tray. It's just a generic plastic tray,

These are used everywhere in Japan, not just restaurants. At a convenience store, department store, the museum, train station, etc. I've never seen them outside of a restaurant in the states.

Was just in Japan and encountered these everywhere. We knew to use them from our research prior to the trip. Initially I was under the impression it was to prevent the spread of germs, but that didn't really line up because the money c

This is exactly the type of course I'm interested in as an SEO and analytics guy with some technical background. Looking forward to seeing what it has to offer. Just a heads up, this is also the type of course I'd pay for, dependi

It wasn't an option for me as a kid. I was told I "wasn't good at math" so not to bother trying to program. Later I learned to work through those issues, and now it's accessible to me. Apart from the motivation to p

Love Dirtbag Diaries, just wish they'd post more often, or on a regular schedule of some kind. Very high quality, interesting content when they do though.

Easily the best user on-boarding experience of any podcast app I've used. I was afraid I was going to have to manually subscribe to all my feeds again, but they were imported smoothly. Creating an account couldn't have been easier

Love SQLite. It was excellent for my first web app, as it had just enough features to be functional, but not completely overwhelm me.

I used Thinkful for a while, and the mentor who they paired me up with was top-notch. Extremely helpful guy, who helped me tremendously in the short time I was with the program.

Hadn't heard of Songza but just gave it a download. I like the "Decade" breakdown and various genres you can filter by. The lack of genres or granular filters in Rdio is my biggest gripe with them (apart from my few issues wi

I just used Pure for the first time on a small Flask site I'm building and it's been great. Love it as an alternative to bootstrap. Not wanting to spend a ton of time designing the site (yet), but also wanting to keep it small, ma

It seems far easier to learn Ruby just by the sheer support it has from all the online coding resources like Treehouse, One Month Rails, etc. I have yet to find a similar type of course or resource for Python. Anecdotally, it was far easier

Cool, I'd be interested in hearing your experience with generating sales and how your app performs. I recently released an app and saw, first hand, how difficult it is to get any traction behind it, even with a small following and enga
