Following a hot topic of putting WAL on S3, initiated by Cursor blog post. We ran an identical CAS write-ahead-log workload against AWS S3, S3 Express One Zone, Tigris, and Cloudflare R2. Benchmark results available.

There are some free platforms for git hosting that don't use AI. Trylle is specifically about augmented software development cycle. You can try Codeberg or Upd.dev if you have allergy for AI accelerated development.

it's the other way around, everything is in the cloud now (upload your files to us, we are privacy respecting, bla bla) So it's good that the product actually highlights it is dealing with local hardware only.
