Agreed. The pricing gets crazy fast when you're not really in control of your record / query count, like the typical SaaS dealing with customer data. It feels tailored to first party use.

Probably unlikely. The only way it might be better (for now) is if you need to use something that uses the GUI. But with native x forwarding coming soon to WSL2, you'll get the same experience soon enough (given that WSL2 is a separate

I'm not sure where it went wrong for you, but I had Zerotier up in 5 minutes as well. Basically sign up for account -> install -> allow to join network in Dashboard. That was it.

FWIW, it works fine if you grab the apk and install it yourself. I use the Chrome Canary channel on my Shield, and it works OK.

Telenor is no stranger to being ordered to do these things when operating in autocratic regimes, and they have a history of complying. Previous incidents have not evoked any such responses in Norway either, sadly.

My experience is the opposite with VSCode and TS, actually. It becomes obvious that Jetbrains understands MSFT's own language (TS) better than VSCode the moment you actually need real IDE-like features (such as refactors) to work.
