I don't know. I just hear everyone is pissed off that GPU prices are so high because of crypto in my circle of friends. Maybe in other parts of the country they don't care as much.

The software wouldn't necessarily run when the computer is in use. During Idle time would be an option.

I think it's possible but they necessarily wouldn't have to target bitcoin until later. Smaller Currencies to start and exposing the flaw will expose a hole even in bitcoin.

It would have to be starting with smaller coins with less marketcap that are easier to mine. Since some people would be scared of running a miner the miner used to start the attack would have to be open source and auditable for people to tr

I think in a large mining pool this is still a possibility to attack the network with 20 Series Nvidia and Above / Equivalent Video Cards. Especially if gamers get together to attack the network, the pool can grow into the millions of
