You might also not suffer from the same sensitivity to motion as the author's wife. I think the main takeaway here is that there is a "Reduce Motion" setting which is not being respected in some cases in iOS 11.

There is definite value in having more granular commits, but at the same time, there are commits that don't really belong in the commit history. While it might take more time than squashing everything, git rebase -i really helps a ton

The decision to put Edge under the Windows org and make it Windows-only was a decision made under Ballmer. I'm guessing if Satya had to do it today, he'd try to make Edge cross-platform.
