Apparently by taking prior art (DNS, server, user interface), and packaging it into a single "product" (DNS software optimized for specific hardware) - You've created a new thing. INNOVATION!

Disagree. The fight with ISIS had a strong cyber dimension, with blockchain being a major funding source for them. Cellphone tracking/hacking was also key, and multiplayer games were recruiting arenas. Before that cyber played a key ro

It sometimes feels like London is a theme-park designed to separate people from their money and entertain the Plebs workforce. This (and the giant Ferris wheel) certainly don't help.

I think RAG approach with Vector DB is more likely. Just like when you add a file to your prompt / custom GPTs. Adding the entire file (or memory in this case) would take up too much of the context. So just query the DB and if there&#x

Mac is a sickness. Even M$ play nicer and do less damage to the tech ecosystem than this walled garden of incompatible code and build process. Managing to break Rust's cross-platform compatibility is no small feat! "congrats"

When people are paying you. People often have it backwards, thinking they'll start a business, THEN get customers. That is often wrong.

o rly? what happens if they fails? can you control the backoff period? can you schedule another job in the event it fails? what if it fails before starting the function, so your in-code error handling isn't triggered? is there a &quo

It's the same fucking thing. You just painted each track different color and thickness. So people don't merge branches to main branch, but tag releases from it. ok. But they still need to merge their changes to main first, right

That's a US-led project. When you add "Euro" to these things they behave differently.

aha, sure. and other times it gave us Eurocloud. You ARE using Eurocloud, aren't you??? But your win is legislation, apples and oranges, right? so here's a better comparison - "this site contains cookies".

Systemd can store files / descriptors.. just give it a desktop environment and release it as SystemdOS and be done with it! build all the functionality into systemd!

Very cool, but this is a security anti-pattern. Having the auth, db and file server in the same service.. an attacker doesn't even need lateral traversal or privilege escalation once inside..

I guess if you can't make something complicated or push the limits, you just call it "art" or "thought provoker" and spend lots of words talking about an egg timer.

No one remembers the GuruPlug, or better yet - the GuruPlug Server Plus, When RPi 1 just came out this little gadget ran x86 Linux (!) and had hdmi out that could handle 1080p video, a feat that only RPi 4 can repeat.

If you can turn the problem into a game you've already solved it.. don't see the value here (except saving compute time by using humans for pattern recognition instead of computers).

This actually a good move. Focus on games rather than attempt to compete in VFX sector. The Billion dollar acquisition was probably driven by megalomaniac ex-CEO, wanting a piece of every pie and world domination.
