Been using libreoffice for years. Here's hoping increased usage will lead to improvements in the "table" functionality. Like when you can define a table, and hit tab at the last column will put you at the next row first colum

I find grepdiff and this function are pretty useful if you want to pull certain hunks out of a large change set: #!/bin/bash # Put this into your .bashrc, or whatever. function git-add-regex { git diff -U0

I would really just like to stop receiving bot spam because they allow arbitrary uses to "sign in" with your email without any validation. To which you then receive login codes via email and recommendations to Russian subreddits

Can we talk about the reddit spam too? Like how they allow bots to sign up accounts, with random email addresses. Which then sends spam/verify emails, with no recourse? I want to block new accounts to my email, but I have no options.

The eBay AstroTurf in this thread is real. eBay is a hot piece of garbage, just go watch testimonials of sellers getting ripped off with no recourse. That being said I don't really care whether either end of the sale goes through.

I thought it was me bumping my table. But now you have me wondering if it's charge buildup.

I think you are incorrect. Compared to modern concrete, roman concrete was more poorly cured at the time of pouring. So when it began to weather and crack, un-cured concrete would mix with water and cure. Thus it was somewhat self healing.

I tried rt, but it was really slow. I typically am taking pub league sports photos. So I try to get through them fast. Dark table really scratched the itch there. There are some bugs, like batched styles seem to be... order dependent. But i

Locust has been useful for load testing. We don't use their cloud offering, anyone have any thoughts on what is being lost in the self hosted version vs cloud.

Do you find you use the trackball for precise movements? I wonder if a more polished product is any different than the Charybdis.

I did build a charybdis, and I daily it. Its been great typing wise. I don't have any wrist issues anymore. The trackball I don't use for any precision actions. Its useful if I want to hit a tab, or move to the other monitor. But

I don't have a static IP, so tailscale is convenient. And less likely to fail when I really need it, as apposed to trying to deal with dynamic dns.

Yeah I started with memories for nextcloud. But it was buggy/slow unfortunately. Being able to scroll to dates with immich is golden. And the facial recognition is on device and works great.
