highly recommend edamagit in vscode for those over here. except there's currently a bug that stops commit from working (c - c) when developing in wsl or a devcontainer, hopefully it'll be fixed soon. BUT if you're developing

here in Norway the standard is 2 weeks in the first 6 months of employment, after that: 3 months. this goes both ways - for quitting and firing.

i've consistently been improving performance by removing logging. feels bad, but getting a 55 hour job down to 12 hours by removing logging was worth it. yes, we log asynchronously and without blocking. but it is a constant tax on ever

Live Share works in both Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code (dunno, maybe VS Mac as well) - if you're in a dotnet shop that covers most cases.

I've seen projects outlive multiple issue-tracking systems. Nothing inherently wrong with having the number in the branch or commit-message, but please make sure the rest of the name/message stands on its own.
