I've had a few customers like that. What I eventually did was make it possible for them to be logged in automatically by visiting a unique URL. Horribly insecure, but it's not a service that needs high security.

What?? That's absolutely ridiculous.The order form made no mention of this. I'm going to cancel my order now. I've looked past the hardware faults and other issues but not being upfront on the overall price is just disrespectful.

The price is simply wrong (for me). I haven't bought an iPad because I think they're overpriced. If either of these devices were £250 ($400) I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I did it when Amazon dropped the price of the Kindle.

Comments could backfire on you. What if you have paying subscribers who start recommending your competitors or free/cheaper alternatives to other paying customers. How do you deal with that. Deleting the comments risks alienating customers.

It depends if the name of the company name is "The BigCo" or just "BigCo", but as he referred to it as BigCo just before then it would seem to be a mistake.
