You should at least know how to splice and crimp an ethernet cable.

You can kickstart a product like the Veronica Mars movie or Bee and Puppycat show. This looks like a product to me, a web serial. It just has ancillary aids for classroom presentation.

First I have heard about that. I had to look it up on wikipedia. I have a resentment of gendered pronouns but I don't think there is any realistic hope for change.

I wasn't disagreeing with the statement about the ketogenic diet, I was disagreeing with this statement: "Sometimes statements are statements. People needlessly attach emotion to the written word when there is no need." In my

I was just trying to explain how the comment could have been misunderstood. You seemed to put the burden of understanding upon the audience and I felt compelled to elucidate the source of many commentators 'needless emotions'.

Some people also make fun of everything that does affect them. People are complicated. I have been to funerals where it is almost like a roast. Some people deal with heavy emotions through humor. I do understand how if something doesn'

It really comes down to phrasing. If they had said "Have you tried a ketogenic diet?" Or "Some people have found a ketogenic diet to be helpful with type 1 diabetes." it would be fine. Instead it came off as an order or

Pretty ethical marketing too. Giving away a bunch of games to encourage donations to charity is better than pulling games from Steam and releasing games as Origin exclusive like they have done in the past.

The first thing I thought of is, even in a hypothetical world without a Clear() method or any means of adding one, why use a for loop instead of a while loop? And if you are set on a for loop, why not simply set the first count to a variabl

Except that it was a private company that invented the pen and then sold it to the Russians and the Americans and even to the public. I am sure they have made back their $1million investment a couple times over.

I was going to say PHP but then I saw it at the bottom. I am guessing they mean ASP/.net? I am not sure though, the list looks pretty complete to me.

What a zinger. Unfortunately a basic understanding of PHP is still required for enough tasks that I would recommend learning it early on. It is also a very forgiving beginner language that naturally segways nicely from html/javascript.

There have been a lot of indie shows popping up via Kick starter funding. Here are two off the top of my head: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/freddiew/video-game-high... http://www.kickstarter.com&

It is a little strange to think about. Most people experience some depression in their lives so things like chronic depression are easier to understand through your own experience. It is strange to think that someone who is 'always so happy

That looks great! When did Dribbble get so huge? That is less of a dribbble and more of a splllash.

Yeah, that is true. But I use Insyc on Windows because it is much more stable than the default drive app and supports symbolic links. So it isn't so much that Linux support is bad as it is that Drive support is bad.

I ran Ubuntu with cinnamon for a little over a year but finally moved over to Mint. There is just a lot more support and stability for using the default DE+WM and a lot of programs can have problems outside of the expected.

If it isn't on GoG or Steam (or Humble Bundle) I just don't buy it. I don't have that much time for games and will just go without. Steam is an amazing service, I am surprised that movies and music have not followed suit.

For some reason I thought it was a plan treat carbon emissions as something that could be traded. So if I have a factory and lowering my carbon emissions would cost me $5000 per ton/day and you had a different type of factory that could low
