It would be really cool to see one of these ASIC shuttles support some form of higher speed LVDS interface that can be multiplexed in for stuff like this though I imagine there are challenges. Maybe there could be a limited number of design

I think this is very correct for studying, when I was in undergrad, if I saw the answer, I found it was more effective to skip past it and solve it later. Even more important, once I am done, I should not go look at the answer to confirm if

For a slowly increasing number of use cases, Lattice is starting to change that. Not quite Cyclone IV, but the ECP5 can be pretty decent for the price. Over time I think their new CertusPro-NX line is going to become interesting.

This is definitely one of the reasons I wrote this article. To be able to see the cause/effect when a problem is very convoluted is something difficult to learn and difficult to teach. You just have to consume a lot of second hand stor

I don't agree either. I don't learn well in a classroom, I went through all of undergrad and grad school skipping every class and only depending on PDFs of lecture notes, PDFs of handouts and textbooks. Lectures, especially with b

I have started to at least write 4-5 bullet points per month of my job in my personal notes as a reminder of what stuff I have done. I find I will remember a lot of details as long as I have notes that remind me that a project even existed
