I've purchased a few themes as well, however every time I've gone to do it I usually contact the author via email first and offer to buy the theme directly from him for 30-40% off. I save money, they get more money, we all win.

And he only got $29,140 if he was using ThemeForest exclusively. If he was selling themes elsewhere, he only got to keep $11,750 of that $47,000. ThemeForest takes an enormous cut.

I think I remember reading an Intel article about something like this not too long ago. You can't just do this because of a few factors. When you start stacking the die like this, the latency grows. You now have to wait for signals to trave

Except you can bet on getting about 24 hours of sleep time on a Windows machine (my HP laptop lasted a little over 24 hours on a full charge) compared to the ~4 weeks of standby you get on a MacBook.

People honestly use GoDaddy for anything other than domain names? NEVER use the same company to host your DNS as you registered your domain with. At that point you're pretty much putting all your eggs in one basket.

The problem is the certificate can be re-added when you do an update (if the update included new root CA's). Thus it's usually safer to just mark the CA as untrusted.

No, it does not. It's what the application DOES that sells the app. I can almost guarantee you that you would sell more if you didn't have such an ugly (in my opinion) UI. I bought MotionX because it was only $0.99. A few weeks later I stop
