   ConEmu "is optimized" for Windows. The problem is that cygwin is not optimized for Windows. But there is cygwin connector: https://conemu.github.io/en/CygwinMsysConnector.html

   bash and zsh are CLI. They are not terminals. Just run bash in ConEmu.

   Absolutely wrong. ConEmu is a terminal where you may run any CLI, bash for example. http://conemu.github.io/en/TerminalVsShell.html

   ConEmu works fine with colors. Your ssh client does not...

   There is equivalent! And many applications know about it. Example? Far Manager, Vim, ... WINDOW_BUFFER_SIZE_EVENT

   Try out ConEmu instead of Console2. It also has clink integration from the box.
