This is due to file system filter [drivers], not the file system. NTFS is perfectly fine and performs well.

Windows has always had this churn. Upgrading from NT4 > 2000 > XP > Vista, etc all required a time investment to figure out new features, group policies, creating an image (Autopilot removed this requirement), etc. Win 11 changing
