Hah funny I ended up giving it a go and ended up having a lot of trouble - connection issues, display issues, etc. They tried rebooting the machine but no luck. Just bough a used mac today!

What provider are you using? I have it a shot through open router and saw some weird half formed words coming through occasionally, would love to switch over and give it a proper go

Boxcryptor used to be amazing for this till they got acquired by Dropbox. Last I checked cryptomator couple years ago it still hand random file corruption risk, is that still true? For now I just use hetzner storage share.

This is so interesting, I used to use exclusively Samsung but bought a Motorola phone for travel and the experience was so good I got rid of my main Samsung and bought another Motorola.

If I understand things correctly then my intuition for the answer to their mom's question would be gears wear out much less quickly than a clutch would if it were engaged all the time. Can anyone who knows more chime in? Edit: ah wait
