If encrypted outputs can be viewed or used, they can be reverse-engineered through that same interface. FHE shifts the attack surface, it does not eliminate it.

Heads up: I left a Peerweb link open overnight (~8 hours) hoping it would load. It consumed ~15GB of memory and triggered an OOM kill, crashing the browser. Browser: LibreWolf (latest) OS: Fedora 43

I also had success, less negotiating, more just helping me form the letters in a few minutes rather than hours so I could get reimbursed for denied coverage, and it did get reimbursed.

Devil's advocate would say: They could do this and make it look like a bug that never gets fixed in order to avoid backlash. How it gets achieved is flexible if the goal is met.

What I don't understand is, why can't we just have a browser that doesn't give any of those details that is used to determine unique a browser. It doesn't make sense to allow a website to have access to that info.

I tend to just select all the files and then paste their filenames into a Chat AI and tell it to write mv commands to rename them however I need. May be more complicated if you need it to open the PDF to get content for the rename though.

Of course, people with no consequences will do horrible things. Looks like its dead in the water though, it was introduced on 03/01/2021 and then nothing. Congress understands without cops that are immune, they cannot do terrible
