TRON is rarely used outside of Japan because the specification documents are mostly in Japanese. TRON is more like an industry standard for an embedded RTOS than a concrete implementation. Of course, some open-source code is available, but

If you want real subversive fantasy, I recommend Andrzej Sapkowski's The Last Wish and the other of books from the saga. It has everything: The main character is a male witch (or witcher), the female wizards have formed a secret society
