Every little thing like that creates a new Linux user. After switching I've never looked back. Posted from SteamOS.

That is not even true. Most JS apps are smaller than photos on the page. High resolution media is the main culprit of web page sizes. Anyway, what's 20mb for 2gb ram pc? Nothing. That is not an issue.

It seems you could use a human instead then? If you have so many apps, you could hire a junior to help you. There is additional satisfaction of bringing new person to the IT too.

What I mean is a script that can look through the logs. They are known and deterministic (if you properly handle errors) and you can analyze them statistically. If you don't know what logs your app is outputting, then you have a bigger

> What are people doing to burn through $3k in tokens? The short answer is: they are doing slop. Most of the coding can be done quickly with a keyboard, intelisense and maybe some code generation templates. But people became dependent o

Most of it doesn't require AI. You could generate automation scripts that do that, except of customer support. People became dependent on AI in places where it never was required and now tech bros are doing the squeeze.

The main difference is that on Linux you can do it on gui. It's much easier to explain and convice the user to click "allow executing file as program" checkbox than a xatttr obscure cli command.

The only small thing you forgot to mention - it requires use of AI. Open Ai to be specific. I've got baited.

That's the most delusional thing I've read all month. Sometimes you must deal with problematic people. Ever heard of Daryl Davis? Be like him 1% and world will be a better place. Don't be like a reddit moderator.

Rossman only ever commented on kiwi farms on a thread about himself. You are lying again, confirming the words of the parent comment. And deserved criticism is not harassment.

Looks it's time to move on. New platform and tools will emerge, I'm sure of it. The only way we can fight corpos is not giving them money and not talking about them.

Making web pages even more slow. Normal people complain about it all the time, arguing that modern programmers are lazy.

It's redundant in single thread environment. Everyone moved to mobile while pages are getting slower and slower, using more and more memory. This is not the way. Immutability has its uses, but it's not good for most web pages.

An alternative is to go a library, rent a book, scan it and read on a reader. You are getting the book for free without supporting greedy drm shops. Btw, in Poland where I live, every ebook shop sells drm free books. Every single one. Why?
