I think jq's data methods allow you to store any type of object. So in the example above, '60' would be stored as a Number and not a String. When you extract it, you would get the Number and this helps if you want to do any m

Qasar's story is amazing and inspirational. Was he able to convey his story in his application to YC and is that the reason you selected him in? Or did someone at YC already know him to be able to truly appreciate his achievement? I ha

Wow! Thanks for replying. I have already been down-voted once for what I posted and was beginning to think my comment was a huge mistake. As hackers we get trained to look at details. So I was hoping others on "Hacker News" would understand

I know this is a minor issue. But when I publish something I want people to inform me of problems. Please note that I don't mean to be disrespectful and just want to help. So here goes: 3rd sentence: "There's a talk I've always want to give

The spec has provisions for automatic semicolon insertion that need to be considered carefully before deciding to completely ignore them. Now consider that http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/index.html says the following: "Bootstrap is d

I have created a repo at git://github.com/rajivnavada/bootstrap.git that addresses this issue in the Makefile. Basically, I added a 'proper' target that 'bootstrap' depends on. This target simply adds the semicolon to the end of the file

Yeah, I've been thinking about doing this. I was kinda hoping that the missing semicolons were just an oversight on the bootstrap teams part. Now that I know there is some demand for a branch of this sort, I'll share it ASAP. EDIT: the repo

Thanks for drawing my attention to this. Currently, I maintain a separate branch simply for adding the missing semicolons so that I can link the individual bootstrap files with my project. It's been quite annoying and I now know that the an

I especially like the logging feature. Haven't had the chance to look at the code yet but how tightly coupled to mongodb is this? Would it be relatively easy to replace the store with redis?
