A quick Google search brings up Whitepages.com http://developer.whitepages.com/docs You should have better luck asking questions like this at StackOverflow.com http://stackoverflow.com/search?q=%5Bapi%5D+reverse+lookup

OK, I figured it out. It was working but I needed to use the arrow keys and the mouse to move to find the right view. If you are too far away the land disappears. Here is a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/SkYHs.jpg

I would use this if it didn't have the twitter/fb limitation. I hate being forced to have twitter and facebook to get into other websites. The UI looks excellent though, good work!

I have been looking for a good alternative to impactjs too. The one that I have been playing with is called Easel.js - http://easeljs.com/

It is hard to say. It seems like some of the frameworks, for example jQuery, are making it easier for people to start using javascript, but could also be limiting the extent that they are actually learning javascript.

This looks interesting, but it could really use a screen shot to better explain what it is going to do.

It looks like the clip should always be random since it will be the last clip that someone chose to post. I don't like it that this site requires you to use a facebook id but, that is probably a good way to control a site like this.

Neat idea! I love how the map is user generated. You should add a point system to it somehow. Could you point me in the right direction for beginning to create a full screen javascript webapp like that?
