DVDs have pretty good bitrate, just lower res and old codecs. HD would be nice, but as long as you aren't using an old DVD player with composite, they look ok. Much better than 480p youtube these days.

Tragic that with a modern efficiency oriented SoC it still has such dissapointing battery life. Expected an improvement over X series thinkpads. At least it can charge off a powerbank, but that's pretty standard now.

I agree entirely. Seeing all llm garbage being published made me realize how insecure people are about their writing. Since realizing, I've been stubbornly improving my own writing and not touching LLMs. Takes a bit of work though.
