No problem. Although I think Behance is probably better for your purposes, you might also want to check out DeviantArt (deviantart.com). It's another pretty big artist community, although I'm not sure how many game artists are on it.

One good source is Behance (behance.net). A lot of good game artists have profiles and portfolios on there. You can message them directly or post a job for applicants. Odesk (odesk.com) also has game artists, although the quality is all o

I agree. I've been teaching my 7-year old son to code and Lua has been a great choice for him so far. After having him play around with Scratch and learn some javascript with Code Monster, we got him going with some game development in Lua

Congrats, thanks for sharing this. As a game dev myself, I'd definitely love to hear more about the custom engine you used and why you chose it over the other options on the market (like Unity, which you mentioned).
