Auto GCAS is a genius system. It only takes over past the point where it's physically possible for a human to react to a situation because that's the only system that fighter pilots would accept. It will not take control unless th

I used to read the games site Rock Paper Shotgun. At some point they decided they were going to block everyone who blocked ads. There were ways around it but the writing had gone downhill so I chose to stop reading it entirely. A few months

I spent a lot of time playing Eve and it's without a doubt the greatest MMO I've ever played but I would never play it again. It will happily eat up as much time as you want to give it. I wouldn't be happy if I wasn't pl

I remember seeing a house for sale in Detroit that basically said you were on your own. No power, no water, and emergency services would not respond to your calls.

I watched a YouTube video about four women who rowed across the Atlantic, it's really good. I couldn't imagine doing it solo. https://youtu.be/6SYHamnHqU8

The Garmin Instinct 2 is around $200 and will last several weeks on a charge even using the GPS regularly. Without GPS use I wouldn't be surprised if it lasted a month.

We will always need some form of baseline power. Solar, wind, and other renewables are an important component of overall power generation but we still need something capable of generating power 24/7/365, in all weather conditions.

I do most of my grocery shopping at Target. In my large Midwestern city 12 large eggs are $2. A 3 lb bag of apples is $4. A 3 lb bag of oranges is $4.29. >When people talk about these cheap meals, I wonder if they just expect everyone to
