Easily disproved lies, go have a look at the wine APPDB if you're not just trolling. Most of the time if something doesn't run right, it's due to DRM or bleeding edge DX features.

There's no shame in reaching out to others when problem solving, that's part of (and should be part of!) the problem solving process. In my experience, Interviewers love when you ask intelligent questions.
