They use a ton of different search index's from what I've seen. Kagi Small Web is also awesome I believe they are building their own index but targeted towards useful results not included in the others

Security is always an inconvenience at some level - that's the point. Put a human user in a sandbox and they often try to get out too in order to achieve their goal or just because it's annoying. We need to create better sandboxes

That's a great point. And it goes probably both ways. The young person doing something annoying might also be annoyed by something different the older person does. Respectful communication is probably the key but why is it so elusive ?

What if you used the Sentinel data (in assuming your using the same low res stuff I view in CalTopo) and put that through an AI up scaling type algo and also give it the higher resolution but older imagery ? With a decent amount of dinklsr

This is really needed right now. I suspect with studios adopting AI en masse for software development and the creative side of things the studios that unionise and/or treat their real workers well will come out on top. We need studios

Im not 87 and have great vision but I recently got some magnifying shop style glasses for close up work on tiny stuff. It also has the advantage of being like readers in that it corrects for close vision (closer point of focus) in addition

You can also use the VLC app on an Apple TV to have a free and slightly janky media server. Just drag and drop files through any browser on a computer.

The better Roku hardware I would say is a second best - you can block the as servers fairly easily and then you do have to disable all the crap on the homescreen.

Don't underestimate working for the medium size business nobody has heard of but prints money doing something semi boring. They won't change the world but it's often a reliable paycheck without all the BS
