   At 70mph most energy is lost to wind resistance. EVs are also heavier, which increases rolling resistance on the tires. This lead to the formulation of stiffer tires for EVs to counteract that effect.

   Last time i looked into MOND it remains relatively unconvincing. The primary reason for this being that it is hard to make the universe look like it should with simulations. We are doing better so far with the lambda-CDM model so far. If so

   Salt deposit clog the devices, harvesting the salt sould require labor. Rejecting the salt allows the device to run passively for years.

   Further concentrated salt solutions deposit in the device, clogging it causing it to not work. You could harvest the salt, but then it is no longer passive.

   Almost certainly the opposite. More massive galaxies tend to form in more massive dark matter halos.
