I cannot agree more. I'm trying to enforce the braces as much as possible because one always adds a statement here and there and obviously forgets to put them (for debugging purposes for example). This is a very big drawback, as Linux

Yes, but this is not the case here. In particular, the author tries to solve the lack of social skills between people sorted in categories (thus by IQ in this case). So it's not that important whether they are 'intelligent'

These days there's a great book "Competitive Programming" by Halim, 3rd edition (2013) [1]. Very well written. Amazon states there's only a paperback edition but you can visit the book's page and order its hardcover

I want to add that not only the price is crucial but a bit of security. Using a closed OS with belief you're not being tracked? Well, they are not so stupid. The best choice for such things is a chinese no-name-smartphone on Android or
