I'm really into the Dresden novels as well. Also read all of the Cosmere, and I highly recommend. 1/3rd of the way through Wheel of Time right now.

If you don't mind me asking, what fiction have you enjoyed? Maybe some people in here can help out.

> Make sure your todo system is a keybind away at all times. Can you access your todo system from your phone? I'm always torn on this, and why I keep my todos in google keep.

A college professor taught me about Zotero during my last semester. Awesome tool, but I wish I learned about it years before. I try and teach every student I meet about it.

I'm not sure if you posted it anywhere, but would you mind sharing what technology you used for this? I would be very interested in contributing if it became open source.

Just to add my experience, I feel like it's hit or miss. It seems like I get notifications with zero issues. Then I'll randomly have a week or two in a row where I don't get notifications or get 50% of them. Not sure why t

So do you work remote to live in a low cost of living area? Just curious how many big salary opportunities are in low cost of living areas.

I completely agree there is no best desktop. I think the statement is better suited as Ubuntu is the "best desktop experience for the average person". I think that's what most people really mean when having this discussion.

I'm not sure if there is a limit on number of people or maybe they just don't want "green" messages. Either way it's conform or be left out.

That's fair. It's just annoying for things like a soccer team. If someone has an update about game time or something, someone has to text me specifically.

I understand the sacrifice though. I've always been an Android guy, but I'm left out of a lot of group chats because of it. I play on multiple sports teams where I'm the only one without an iPhone. They have a group chat f

I know WhatsApp isn't perfect, but I wish most people where I lived used it. Well I wish they used anything really. I'm one of my few friends on Android, and it is really annoying being excluded from group chats because of it.

I think it's a little unfair to just decide what "worse" is. Every older generation loves to say they like the old ways better. Seems hypocritical as they watch tv while playing on their iPad.

I always feel like around the 2 year mark my phone feels very different compared to when I bought it. Battery feels worse, everything feels slower, and crashes start to accumulate. Are you not running into this?

I grew up in Pennsylvania, and Denver is my first place outside of there. Housing is expensive, but not near NYC/SF expensive. The tech scene is growing, but clearly isn't as big either. Overall, I really like Denver, and I

Denver, CO - Office (Downtown by Coors Field) is 1.2 miles from my apartment. I either walk to work, or my girlfriend drops me off sometimes. Denver has a free metro bus that goes up and down 18th/19th street. If I'm lucky I ca
