I would say that working closely together with the front-end devs is key. Listen to what they are trying to do, and see where you can help. Mind you though, that it should be balanced, because you want to avoid doing work that is unnecessar

Number 31 ("Play poker well enough to win the World Series of Poker.") is a pretty empty statement, as 1 tournament does not reflect your skill at poker at all. Short term variance is too big of a factor when it comes to one 1

Is it me or is this page really scrambled on Chrome 38/Mac OS X Yosemite? It loads fine, but as soon as I scroll down, the background is black and the letters get scrambled in blue

Is this what the app by Pokerstars uses? The app is not available in the Play Store due to the gambling nature of the app, but it checks for updates itself when opened.

That's essentially doing the same trick twice, only with a slightly larger version that matches the border color of the box and is positioned behind the smaller triangle.

Facebook should implement a setting where you can disable this feature, so others cannot see if you have read their message, but at the same time this info is hidden for you as well.
