Mainly because the enterprise is guaranteed to buy at least a few hundred copies. Also this is pretty common in other areas too, the rich and celebrities always seem to get more for less.

He clearly has some conflicting views here,"The walled garden thing can’t last forever...Apple and Amazon can be publishers within the universal system. But they can’t have monopoly channels." This might be a nice idea, but aren't Apple and
