Instagram is a horrible image portfolio system. It does not offer full res downloads, has zero exif data, extremely limited desktop app. Instagram is a social media app first, and a photo app second.

Just look around on the internet, you'll find the same thing. I researched this a few weeks ago and was amazed. You basically have to disable the audio driver in OSX to disable it, and doing that, means you can't play audio at all

I guess this is just as good place as any to bring this up. In current OS X, you cannot disable your mic. You can turn down the input volume, but never disable. All malware needs to do is raise the input volume and it can listen to you to i

This, a million times this. Also, taxi drivers could care less about your ride experience. No way to rate them and cause any change, so they just treat everyone like crap.

From what I've read and heard, the key is reliability, consumer internet service is not as stringent on reliability, but enterprise internet lines usually come with a guaranteed reliability.

I don't think it'd damage the computers, if it did, it'd be very minor, like you said. I'd say the biggest effect would be people's electrical bills being higher.

The only thing weird I found about this, is the win8 ie10 vmware for mac on microsoft.com comes with a boot virus, or so says Avast. It reports it has Kampana-37XX. Screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/wXOu3uJ.png
