This also worked for me. I deleted the Instagram app from my phone. If I want to see it, I can look at it from the phone browser. The experience is just barely not smooth enough to break the addiction. I also keep the Nintendo Switch nearby

Thanks for this suggestion! I didn't think about it at all. I will look into it. I'd rather have a small desktop that I can carry than yet another laptop. I completely agree with you that laptops degrade way faster than I like
