The server runs at ~100 FPS, but things like worker updates and attacks happen at a 1.5 second interval. Only the changes (like walking a step, collecting a resource) are sent to the client(s). There is no client side prediction. There is n

Thank you for the feedback! This sounds like something that I will get implemented in due time.

- Not WebGL, there are just some "canvas" draw functions. - Source is not public currently. - Just jQuery - Game is desktop only, based on 32x32 sprites, there is an option to scale though if you are on a high resolution display.

I've been working on this since 2014, but the actual time spent on development is maybe a few months.

I have posted this here before, but that was in 2015. So maybe another try, now that the game has improved significantly. This is basically a simple RTS game that you play right in the browser. Created with JavaScript & Canvas using Web

I have posted this here before, but it was a couple of years ago and the game has evolved a bit since. If anyone of you still use IRC, welcome to #moneygame on QuakeNet! Basically the game is a business simulation, where you operate your co

Used to run an online game, where lots of fraud was going on. People would buy ingame coins or whatever, move them elsewhere and then chargeback. Full protection at just 0.4% would have been a dream for me if I still operated that game.

OVH servers include a pretty efficient DDoS protection. It was the only option for hosting my online game servers that didn't cost tens of thousands.

A "government company" buys electricity and cement at a cheap price, since their demand by players is not high enough yet.

The General X companies won't be increasing jobs available anymore, so the wage market will be freed up. Other than that the market shouldn't be manipulated in any negative way, or would you disagree with that?

Been running this lighttpd server for ages for small sideprojects. One day I will have the motivation to switch this server to nginx as well.

Tbh it's not really "fully" player-driven, there's still the magical government aspect in the game that sucks out money at one part and spits it out in another.

Yes, that's how it works. Making $10 isn't that hard though, just check back a little more often than once every 10 days.

That's a bit of an embarrassing shortcoming for now. I'll try to get it fixed in the near future.

Glad you like it. The view will be made bigger in the next version, and you can erase items by right clicking. Water being green is a really weird problem, it works for me every time yet I see people getting green water in their maps all th

Added the public mapeditor feature today. Still an early alpha version with some rough edges, like complete lack of bordering and decoration, but should still be somewhat usable!

The swordsmen and towers are really strong indeed, perhaps a bit too strong, but I think the balance is close to good enough. You just have to be clever with what units you make, at what time.

Yeah, I made this game with graphics from my other game, Zezenia, which is a MMORPG heavily inspired by my favorite game as kid, Tibia.

I think I met this bug myself once, the tower can attack the archer but you have to manually make the tower do so, the automatic attack doesn't reach far enough. Thanks for the reminder.

The graphics could use some tuneup in general. :P Unfortunately there is no way to kick anyone yet, so you'll have to setup a new game if he refuses to wake up.
