Looking at the threads below, very few people are discussing technical things in dns terms like zone or nameserver. Yeah. The way how most things on the internet prove ownership make the assumption that the 3ld is owned by the 2ld. Extend i

Bernie’s Sanders is very easy to attack because of how fast he folded to the DNC in the past decade. Even for the Trump "bull in the china shop" voter, Sanders has become less relevant in 2020 and 2024 because he offers so little

If you’re old enough you remember favoriting servers in Gamespy. You’d end up on the same servers depending on who is there and mainly how good your connection was.

I just _refreshed_ my setup replacing my shield and trying to get Emby and Kodi working together… This looks great especially since I have complete collections of various sci if stuff I loved growing up (Star Trek: TNG, Star Gate). The big

It's a positive vision of where society can go rather than having to sacrifice and buckle down. Do people not remember riding bikes as kids? Riding a bike is _still_ fun. It never stopped being fun. Now you can do that and get to work.

Completely agree and it's worse with electric unicycles.

I would honestly look for Belt Drive versions of most of these recommendations as there is one less maintenance thing to worry about.

I agree with all of your points. I am kind of shocked that I had to scroll so far down to see point #3 on this thread at all. CSS doesn't give the best toolset in order to do styling and organize styling. The locality of HTML structure

Is there something more inherent that makes an electric unicycles more dangerous, other than they make them go ridiculous speeds? I would have thought the larger wheel on an EUC made it more stable and the higher power makes it not have to

Didn’t you basically train yourself on how to run out on an EUC while learning? I know I did. Also the EUC feels so ridiculous that wearing protective gear seems normal.

God… the most close calls I’ve seen have always been with rental e-scooters. Both of them blew past a red light, which btw, I was stopped at on my e-scooter. He nearly got hit by a SUV if the driver didn’t stop. I think there’s some expecta

The DC metro is ridiculous. I'm cynical enough to think that the only way the Silver Line would have been done faster would have been to shutdown DCA so politicians would be forced to use Dulles. Even then they would probably just have

For the stuff that matters, I had to connect to my receiver then to the TV. It doesn’t help that DTS isn’t supported by my TV (LG-CX). I have a Denon AVR as well. So basically, almost everything goes through the receiver: nvidia shield, Blu

Tern makes a BYB bike model that looks decent for transit ( https://www.ternbicycles.com/us/bikes/471/byb ). I personally own a Tern Verge and it's more enjoyable as a bike than my Brompton.

There are a lot of things involved in increasing hospital capacity. One would be increasing the number of workers. With things like masks we were able to free up supply by allowing N95 construction masks to be used until other production ca

Depending on where you're from the answer differs greatly. But a very simple (and most likely a wrong one) is that no matter the circumstances, it takes a preponderance of bad outcomes to shift quickly on policies. And the policymakers
