That's great. I'll keep that in mind from my front row seat to the climate catastrophe, and as every day, ~19k people die from man-made air pollution. [1] It is all a net positive somehow... Sure. 1. https://ourworldind

Ah yes the industrial revolution, which had no far reaching negative consequences at all. What a great metaphor to go along with your LLM promotion.

Great advice. I wasn't aware of showdead. Someone else already found the link I was after but I will keep this technique in mind in case I need it in the future.

Unfortunately that is not it. Thanks for the suggestion. I did read that one but the post I saw last night was more broad and covered general news instead of mainly social media.

Hi there. I'm so sorry you are having to go through this. I went through it myself not that long ago. It is awful and very painful. The best you can do is be there for your mother and make sure she knows that you're there no matte

Wow. Thanks for making this. I love that it is open source, and the clips you chose are so relaxing. The passenger car is so chill.

You’re not far off. The Snapdragon is monitored by some more radiation tolerant hardware (FPGA if I recall correctly). Great talk about it from the FSW Workshop in 2019. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mQu9m4MG5Gc

Only fatal for the elderly seems a bit over-simplistic. The link you provided doesn’t indicate how many cases the younger population has. Also, why is it an overreaction? Elderly people should be protected too.

They could’ve told it honestly without making it seem like sleep deprivation is noble. Great things can be achieved with proper sleep and not falling asleep at your keyboard just to wake up and keep coding “right where you left off” as they

I found it pretty surprising how much they romanticized his years of working instead of sleeping. That’s a dangerous thing to promote.

Very strange definition of "best." Justin Beiber? No. 3Blue1Brown? Yes. Who is upvoting this obvious spam?

Hello! FSW dev from NASA Langley here. We do try to do reuse as much as possible, but small satellites (CubeSats) are starting to change that. There are so many new pieces of hardware and so much experimentation going on to see what’s feasi

Hello! I’m a FSW dev at NASA Langley. As others have said, the talks from the FSW workshop are a great start. If you want to see a well-used framework, check out CFS ( https://cfs.gsfc.nasa.gov )

No need to baselessly suggest autism. There are people who don’t care about these things. Find one of them. It’s not hard. I’ve known several.

Powerless? No. Just don’t buy it. It really is that simple. You don’t have to change everyone’s mind. Just stand up for yourself.

I just interned with the guy responsible for libSPRITE last summer at the Marshall Spaceflight Center in Huntsville. Kind of awesome to see he open sourced it. He really was hoping to get approval to do so. I used his library for my interns

What in the world does the start up message mean? I bought the app and when I opened it, I got a message about needing to open some folder. Was I supposed to go find that folder on disk and open it, or just click "Ok!"?

Just wanted to say thanks for this post. I read it this morning, and after lunch had the worst allergic reaction I have ever had. Luckily I already had epipens, just in case. I had never used one, but when it came time for it, I just did it

Interesting. Do you mean by physically accessing the USB drive and changing it, or software that waits to modify the USB drive once connected? Thank you!
