We didn't have the same experience. A bug that also affected me was reported at least twice (March 2019 and April 2019[1]). After 5 months of wait, the OP posted a script he wrote to work around the issue. A simple path building issue

Agreed on all your points except the last one. Not sure if it was just in my part of the world, but when Dropbox started, people only paid for local storage. And that was mostly technical people outside of small USB drives.

Except those are actually long-term rentals. What if Google or Apple or Microsoft, for whatever reason, decide to pull the plus on their service? Now you paid for nothing and don't own whichever movie you "bought" anymore.

The app itself doesn't need Bluetooth. From what I understood, Bluetooth is necessary only to have the app automatically launch when connecting to whatever Bluetooth device/infosystem unit you have in your car.

It has been available for quite a while, but only for videos (they added a button in the video player). If you want to cast a tab, while it's not the optimal solution, you can cast your whole screen using the quick settings tile.

Not sure if it works with desktops/laptops, but there is a guest mode (disabled by default) in the settings (on the Android app) that allows anyone to add thing sto the player queue. Only app I know for sure it works is Youtube. I&#x27

If you have a wired connection, there is no toggle for that setting. There is probably a registry value you can change to do so though.
