I use nix-darwin and also manage my homebrew packages with it. Maybe you can take a look at that. May I ask for what do you use it at work? I have a few places I think nix might suit but I can’t really put my finger on it.

The biggest annoyance for me is the removal of Firewire support with Tahoe. That’s why I keep Sequoia for the time being. I’ll probably create a new APFS volume and dual boot with Sequoia for the foreseeable future for Firewire support.

Not the parent but you can set up Dynamic DNS at home and Wireguard in your router and later use the Wireguard connection to connect to your home network and have a safe tunnel. It’s quite easy to do with openwrt routers.

Changing the app on iOS causes the WebSocket to fail, which made it so that my chat was lost. Sending new messages didn’t make me connect automatically, which is a shame.
