People already have unhealthy parasocial relationships with influencers. It seems clear that people (lonely/depressed people especially) will overdose on this sort of thing once it is developed, commercialised, and less bleeding edge.

Cool article! If you haven't come across Doug Engelbart yet, I highly recommend it. He invented the mouse (yes, that mouse), and was a staunch believer in chorded keyboards. I'll admit, though, I don't really get it.

If you have an Audible subscription, you may have noticed the same behaviour there. Large numbers of books labelled as 'free with your membership', which likely only cost Amazon the price of delivering the files. Which makes sense

Maybe it's like SHA256. You change a single pixel in an image, for example, and you get a completely different result.
