IANAL but she could also have a good case that it will be impossible for her to get a fair trial. Some potential jurors will have seen these doctored photos. With the prosecution putting out obviously false info then it calls into question

Suspended sentence…not prison. Winterkorn has spent the past decade getting various postponements in his trial. Now that he is approaching 80 it is unlikely he will suffer any serious punishment.
