Not disclosing a vulnerability you found to the manufacturer (while the product can still hopefully be patched) is “not responsible”. I think that’s what the person is trying to say.

How is it “the best”? It’s inapplicable in any jurisdiction which guarantees authors cannot give away their moral rights. So literally any other license which requires attribution is better than CC-0 in that case, for instance.

This gets posted literally moments before I was about to pay them after ditching Claude. Thank you! I hate data collection in paid products. I think I will be using Kagi Ultimate for the inference UI, so the data is somewhat anonymized befo

I also wonder why it’s the 2012 version of the language which gets all the hate, instead of the hate being directed at Google, who doesn’t care about putting resources towards updating the main offender, Kubernetes’ YAML 1.1 parser. https:

Is there something wrong with the pictures in the second half of the article? It seems like they are taking forever to load (about 30 seconds each), one at a time. I’m on mobile (iOS).

It’s fun to see the difference between the LLMs (or between the LLM and the person) before and after commit `3c275fdˋ. The project switches from big diffs with commit messages on day one, to smaller diffs with no commit messages besides the

Using their logo in this way is probably a trademark violation, so they would be able to get your QR code “for free” (minus the costs involved with consulting their legal division).

This has been a solved problem for at least two decades. Use ASN.1 and choose your encoding rules accordingly: JER when you need JSON, XER when you need XML, and switch to BER/DER when you need to reduce transfer costs.

Because VC money depends on the company’s growth plans, and VC money isn’t offered if “AI” isn’t part of the product any more. (Sample size of one, told by a friend who’s in direct contact with the CEO.)

I extensively report obvious slop websites. Most of them get rejected/marked as “not AI”. That initiative is cute on paper, but they apparently do not trust the community.
