That goes against the intent of the parents though. If a parent wants a child to go into some other non-STEM field, I don't see how anyone has the right to go against that by brainwashing kids into doing something else.

I use Firebase in lieu of running my own NodeJS server. I can use a backend PHP web server but still provide realtime capabilities to my app users by using Firebase as a pub/sub system.

That's not my problem. You're not entitled to that hosting and bandwidth. If I wanted to, I could host a website off my laptop for a couple hours a day if I wanted to. There is no law of the internet that guarantees a user can be
