The coolant inlet flange on a friends ~2015 730d, made of plastic, cracked recently. To remove & replace it you have to pull the whole inlet manifold and a whole host of other bits off.

Can't you just burn up the power, e.g. with water->hydrogen conversion, water desalination, pumped hydro, etc. Whenever the grid isn't demanding 100% for your power you throw it at some other profit-generating venture. Granted

The one downside I've found (other than noise) running a super old supermicro at home is the power consumption is nowhere near as good as the modern hardware. But my server is _really_ old, some dual socket xeon thing I got super cheap
