    Clean design can be just as flashy. The new one stands out...but not in a good way. It looks cheap. I do agree that app icons should be respectful of the user, but some users demand flashy!

    Can we end these articles please? They're link bait. Apple users are wildly happy according to surveys. The platform is still the strongest dev environment is Apple's history. The tradeoff is reduced control over your hardware and software.
