I have no more sympathy left for drug users after my wife was attacked in daylight in downtown Portland on the way to work. Enablement is not compassion.

Sucks for those who were affected but when Brex pivoted from small businesses to well funded startups and shut down 10s of thousands of accounts, I think the market lost all trust. Ramp & Mercury provide way more value now. Absolutely n

Ah yes, the slipper slope. Let's be honest, librarians and educators have a ton of power and no oversight in indoctrinating children into the views that they want. Now that parents are challenging them, all of sudden, PEN America belie

The fight is with the parents vs. educators. They can't stand that parents have ability to choose what books their kids should (or shouldn't) read.

Not sure if troll or not but as you might know, there are different levels to Christianity. I'm not the kind of person to say all paths leads to Rome but I do believe that there are variables to a Christian life and every single person

I really like your demo. A question that always comes up when I see these "Heroku-like" replacements on top of AWS/GCP/Azure is who is the target user? A couple years ago, you would have platform teams helping developers

I was an early Clubhouse user. The initial conversations were very beneficial and very interesting. Over time, as more people got access, it started to turn into virtue signaling sessions on one end and super wack conversations about crypto

It's a great post with realities of war. Being focused on work is a great distraction as well. My issue is how do we respond to businesses who are clearly exploiting the crisis for monetary gain? It's one thing to ask for support

Normally I'd agree but knowing the damage that propaganda does - RT and any other Russian-government owned channels should be shutdown/"canceled". For the last eight years, they've been riling up the Russian populat

I made the mistake of paying myself too much after fundraising round and then too little in order to extend runway. Nothing is more stressful when you have less than three months of runway left and you have absolutely no saving and have a f

They're turning this into a PR event for themselves and unfortunately others[1] are spreading it by hyping it up to what it really isn't. Plus, as another person put it - security researchers don't blur out sensitive details,

I wouldn't trust Orca's word. They're pretty shady and have implemented some questionable tactics in the past to get customers/vendors.

I'm not vaxxed - but want to be. I tested positive for COVID now a second time last week and taking a few days off to be safe. This time it felt a lot easier to go through so I assume it's Omicron. First time around in July 2020,

I'm not a Web3 hater - but I think VCs lighting the fuel with money is to blame. Now, every wantrepreneur is launching some sort of "decentralized" product and trying to capitalize on the hype. We'll see most of these pr

I think the word hypocrisy is thrown around easily. I think churches have made mistakes and there are no excuses for them - but painting every single church and every single believer with a broad brush and calling everyone a hypocrite is in

I think it heavily depends on the church and community. One of the reasons we are staying in our current church is because we're open to a wide community (multi-ethnic) with the same core values. Our kids grow up in this community but

As a believer and someone who attends church regularly, this is sad but not unexpected. From my own personal experience - if the church cannot answer questions clearly, their members will look for answers somewhere else. A lot of churches u

Their UX has become worse, questionable design choices, and 2 GB limit is almost a joke. Chances are, if you're in the market, you just use something like Box which provides a lot more value for free.

Personal take - the less amount of human interaction for fast food, the better for me. My order doesn't get messed up, no pressure on explaining anything, just order through the app and go.
