[Disclosure - I work for Delimiter] @nreece suggested our StorageVPS. Delimiter's storage VPS are HDD based but NVMe accelerated. We run ZFS with the ZIL/Cache on the NVMe. The storage performance is great, but CPU isn't over

There is no private option with Slot hosting. I think the OP is confusing 8 cores + 8 threads as 16 cores.

Slot hosting moved to annual only as administering a customer-owned equipment adds an additional layer of headache. Its not cost effective to have customers who want to load up on 'warez' cancelling their service, shipping back th

The slots are just a VM + Disk. You can setup the VM to serve the disk contents by NFS or CIFS etc and mount it on any of our products.

Delimiter's full-ha cloud gives you 250GB space, 1 CPU, 1GB RAM for $6/month. You could add more CPU/more RAM for just a few pennies. Disk space scales to 50TB per disk quite cheaply. https://cc.delimiter.com/
