   Well ac'shually in normal philosophical use "consequentialism" means the morality of an action depending only on the consequences of that action. And that is a much more controversial (and IMNSHO wrong) proposition.

   I think an American reader would expect a startup to almost always offer equity, but it's a language/culture-issue. In English: startup, the: Early stage company with allegedly high growth potential offering equity instead of cash

   Does N26 actually give their employees equity? I don't know about them specifically, but allmost all German "startups" don't.

   I had to twitch my feet to all three imaginary pedals to figure out the brake is the middle one. Even in this metaphor doing and knowing how to do are distinct skills.
