I’m trying to get rid of Amazon but honestly it’s very hard. All vendor websites are shit, high friction, high bugs. Vendors consistently delivers significantly slower (like 2-3 weeks sometimes) There is no single website that offers simila

As someone who has been in the industry over 25+ hands down this is the worst period of being online. There has always been that programmer who wanted to quit and run a restaurant, but tech world lost its original soul. We were making peopl

I started learn linear algebra and some mid-level math stuff couple of years back. While I really wanted to learn I still struggled to find a good learning path and use a product similar to Duolingo for math. Eventually I learned some, then

Yes, I don’t know why a lot of this articles oversee this fact. Economics of SaaS will change not because customer will build their bakeries, there will be tons of bakeries selling cheaper bread.

Almost same story (except china), my grandmother lost her parents very young. A family took her in and she worked for them until 20 years old or something then she got married.

There are lots of assets to purchase or even for free. majority of small devs will buy them, if they have money then will freelance. It’s very rare for one dev to do everything but do exist. Assets are generally cheap, unity asset store itc

At that point it’s not even a back door it’s just stupid default root password kind of design which used to be standard in this kind of hardware. Backdoor would at least try to be subtle :)

That’s how we ended up where we are. Which is effectively trading privacy to convince and cool everyday. Now the new generation doesn’t even understand what they are selling. I get what you are saying but unless we call it what it is (which

If I download it on my iPad I’m pretty sure it will delete itself or eventually got deleted on an update. I might be wrong but this is how these systems work.

Is it just me who thinks that everything went wrong when we accepted the closed model hardware and their ecosystem? If it was an open ecosystem, we would have alternative options like we have in PC such as GoG for games. I know movie indus

How is there “justice” if everyone knows the party with less money cannot get into a legal battle? How is then America free and democratic? I’m not American and I’m very confused by this and also the concept of bail money.

This is another problem with charge back, EBay is screwing you? Do you want to be black listed from eBay all of your life or lose that $100? Can you dare to chargeback Apple or Google? It’s too risky tbh.

I didn’t, the thing with chargeback they don't do it after one month. At least that’s AMEX. I’m sure there is a fight to make and get it back, but I’d rather work and make money instead of fighting to stupid people and system.
